Trust
I stand
before
a great white frozen lake
paper thin ice
that cracks at the touch
I stand
on
a tall great cliff
a single cotton thread
my only road to hope
I reach out my hand
scared to take that step
terrified the thread will break
the ice will crack
send me to oblivion
I step out
you take my hand
I'm clinging to you
(dear God, don't let me fall)
