- I am unashamed to call myself a Christian; I love the Lord and wish to serve Him and His church. I belong to a wonderful Orthodox church called "The Good Shepherd". I'm a recent Science graduate from Monash University, I did my Honours in Genetics last year. Currently I am working as a lab technician for a compounding pharmacy. I could be considered to be a bit "goth". I suffer from long term depression, and my writing reflects this. It's my hope that this blog will allow me to share my faith with others, and provide support and empathy to those suffering from depression, despair and anxiety. All people are welcome and encouraged to leave comments on my blog, or to contact me.

beautiful little poem,...one of my daughters (18 yrs.old) also loves to write, though mainly short-stories or "essays"..the other (16 yr.old) would like to draw & sketch,paint, but now is more into "track & field"....i appreciate your writing, you seem to have very deep, good sentiments...and I love the idea of the phoenix birds tears healing someone (he comes out of the ashes, stronger and determined to cure and soothe others), maybe similar to "the balm of Gilead"??..and reminds me also of the very sorrowful, maternal tears of the Blessed Virgin Mother Maria, who also (i believe) cries for us all to turn to her loving Son....(as in our lady of la salette where she appeared crying to the children Melanie & Maximin)...please excuse my "ramblings-on" & any "grammatical" errors, as I'm somewhat new to this "blog" & "computer-business" and leaving messages....but felt I should leave and comment of appreciation for your writing!!...so thanks-again, & God bless you!...Jesus Maria & Joseph loves you VERY much, pls. don't forget it...Sincerely, mrs. I definitely encourage your daughters to keep writing, and to keep up with those 'hobbies' (sometimes they can become a little more than that) that nurture their creative sides. it's such a wonderful way of expressing oneself when other means fail.
and I'm glad that there are some out there who appreciate it. funnily enough I was flicking back through my blog last night to see what was on here, been over a year since I have, and I'm afraid my writing has fallen very much behind, but lately I have been wanting to do some more, and you have encouraged me to keep at it!
