Take me home

Oh God, these tears are falling yet again
How can I ask for what I don’t know?
Oh Almighty, how can I approach you with these thoughts of sin?
Would that your holy fire would consume me
what blessing that would be
To carry me from this world of darkness
Slow my heart
Still my breath
Take me home

But how my unworthiness blocks that path
God grant your lowly servant peace.

In the same way, the Spirit too comes to the aid of our weakness; for we do not know how to pray as we ought, but the Spirit itself intercedes with inexpressible groanings.

And the one who searches hearts knows what is the intention of the Spirit, because it intercedes for the holy ones according to God's will.

We know that all things work for good for those who love God, 6 who are called according to his purpose.

~Romans 8: 26-28

Wow. Great blog Rachel. I am glad Marie said that you had another one. I really should take more notice of what people have in their sidebars.
